Raingutter Regatta

Each fall our Cub Scouts race trimaran boats made from kits that the scouts assemble and decorate themselves! This past year's annual Pack 50 Raingutter Regatta took place on Monday, November 5th. Pack 50 had three tables set up on the fourth floor of Christ United Methodist Church for racing, along with stations for construction/tweaking the boats and concessions during the event.

Each race has two scouts place their boats at one end of a gutter filled with water, and they have to blow into the sail to move their boat forward; no touching! The first boat to the other end of the raingutter wins! A double-elimintation bracket was set up to determine our den and overall winners!
